Mool Sutra : सुखदुःखज्ञान वा, हितपरिकर्म चाहितभीरुत्वम्। यस्य न विद्यते नित्यं, तं श्रमणा ब्रुवते अजीवं।।६।।
Sutra Meaning : The Jinas call that an ajiva (i.e., non-soul) which invariably does not have any knowledge of pleasure or pain, does not know what is beneficial and does not have any fear of what is detrimental.
