| Mool Sutra : | पैशुन्यहासकर्कश-परनिन्दाऽऽत्मप्रशंसा-विकथादीन्। वर्जयित्वा स्वपरहितं, भाषासमितिः भवेत् कथनम्।।१९।। | ||
| Sutra Meaning : | Carefulness in speech (bhasasamiti) consists in avoiding slanderous, ridiculous and speeches blaming others, self-praise or incredible stories. Such speeches conduce neither to the good of oneself nor that of others. | ||
