Mool Sutra : | ज्ञानस्यावरणीयं, दर्शनावरणं तथा। वेदनीयं तथा मोहम्, आयुःकर्म तथैव च।।९।। | ||
Sutra Meaning : | In brief, the Karmas are of eight kinds: (1) jnanavaraniya (knowledge obscuring), (2) Darsanavaraniaya (Apprehension obscuring), (3) Vedaniya (feeling producing), (4) Mohaniya (causing delusion), Ayu (determining the life-span), (6) Nama (physique-determining), (7) Gotra 9status determining) and (8) Antaraya (obscuring the power of self). Sutra Meaning Transliteration : | Ina bariefa, tahe karamasa are ofa eigahata kinadasa: (1) jananavaraniya (kanovaledage obasacurinaga), (2) darasanavaraniaya (apaparehenasiona obasacurinaga), (3) vedaniya (feelinaga paroducinaga), (4) mohaniya (causinaga delusiona), Ayu (deteramininaga tahe life-sapana), (6) nama (pahayasique-deteramininaga), (7) gotara 9satatusa deteramininaga) Anada (8) anataraya (obasacurinaga tahe povera ofa selafa).
