| Mool Sutra : | आहारौषध-शास्त्रानुभयभेदात् यत् चतुर्विधम् दानम्। तद् उच्यते दातव्यं निर्दिष्टम् उपासक-अध्ययने।।३१।। | ||
| Sutra Meaning : | Donation is of four types, viz., that of food, that of medicine, that of scriptural teaching, that of assurance against fear. And in the scriptural text ‘Upasakadhyayana’ this fourfold donation is declared worthy of performance. | ||
