| Mool Sutra : | न सत्कृतिमिच्छति न पूजां, नोऽपि च वन्दनकं कुतः प्रशंसाम्। स संयतः सुव्रतस्तपस्वी, सहित आत्मगवेषकः स भिक्षुः।।१६।। | ||
| Sutra Meaning : | he who desires no honour, no worship, no salutation even, how will he desire praise? He who has self-control, observes the vows correctly, practises penance and seeks to know the true nature of the soul is the real monk. | ||
