Mool Sutra : | Bhoganam parisamkha, samaiya-atihisamvibhago ya. Posahavihi ya savvo, cauro sikkhau vuttao. | ||
Sutra Meaning : | Setting limit to the consumable and unconsumable objects of sensuous enjoyment, practising the mental equanimity (Samayika), offering food etc. to the monks, guests and other needy persons and performing fast alongwith the religious set called pausadha, all these are known as four disciplinary vows. | ||

Sutra Meaning Transliteration : | Setatinaga limita to tahe conasumabale anada unaconasumabale obajectasa ofa senasuousa enajoyamenata, paractisinaga tahe Menatala equanimitaya (samayika), ofaferinaga fooda etac. To tahe monakasa, guesatasa anada otahera needaya perasonasa anada Peraforaminaga fasata alonagavitaha tahe religiousa seta calaleda pusadaha, alala tahese are kanovana asa foura disacipalinaraya Vovasa. |
