| Mool Sutra : | Bahiya uddhamadaya, navakamkhe kayai vi. Puvvakammakkhayatthae, imam deham samuddhare. | ||
| Sutra Meaning : | He who has an eye on his upward journey (liberation) shoul not think of the external objects (i. e., worldly pleasures): he should protect his body for annihilating the past Karmas. | ||

| Sutra Meaning Transliteration : | He vaho hasa ana eye ona hisa upavarada jouraneya (liberationa) sahoula nota tahinaka ofa tahe exteranala obajectasa (i. E., Voraladalaya paleasuresa): he sahoulada parotecta hisa bodaya fora ananihilatinaga tahe pasata karamasa. | ||
