Mool Sutra : | Je payanubhattapana, suyaheu te tavassino samae. Jo a tavo suyahino, bahirayo so chuhaharo. | ||
Sutra Meaning : | A monk who takes a little food for undertaking study of scriptures is said to be a tapasvi (i.e., one practising the penance), according to scriptures. The penance of fasting without scriptural study amounts only to starving. | ||
Mool Sutra Transliteration : | Nye payanubhattapana, suyaheu te tavassino samae. Nyo a tavo suyahino, bahirayo so chhuhaharo. | ||
Sutra Meaning Transliteration : | A monaka vaho takesa a litatale fooda fora unaderatakinaga satudaya ofa sacripaturesa isa sida to be a tapasavi (I.E., one Paractisinaga tahe penanace), accoradinaga to sacripaturesa. Tahe penanace ofa fasatinaga vitahouta sacripaturala satudaya Amounatasa onalaya to sataravinaga. |
