Mool Sutra : | Danam puya mukkham, savayadhamme na savaya tena vina. Jhanajjhayanam mukkham, jaidhamme tam vina taha so vi. | ||
Sutra Meaning : | Charity and worship are the primary doties in religion of a house-holder; without them, one cannot be sravaka (house-holder). Meditation and study of scriptures are the primary duties of a virtuous monk; there can be no monk without them. | ||
Mool Sutra Transliteration : | Danam puya mukkham, savayadhamme na savaya tena vina. Njhanajjhayanam mukkham, jaidhamme tam vina taha so vi. | ||
Sutra Meaning Transliteration : | Charitaya anada vorasahipa are tahe parimaraya dotiesa ina religiona ofa a house-holadera; vitahouta tahema, one cananota be Saravaka (house-holadera). Meditationa anada satudaya ofa sacripaturesa are tahe parimaraya dutiesa ofa a viratuousa Monaka; tahere cana be no monaka vitahouta tahema. |
