Mool Sutra : अणुखंधवियप्पेण दु, पोग्गलदव्वं हवेइ दुवियप्पं। खंधा हु छप्पयारा, परमाणू चेव दुवियप्पो।।१७।।
Sutra Meaning : The substance matter is of two kinds-in the form of an atom (paramanu) and in the form of molecules. Molecules are of six kinds, while the atoms are of two kinds.

Sutra Meaning Transliteration : Tahe subasatanace matatera isa ofa tavo kinadasa-ina tahe forama ofa ana atoma (paramanu) anada ina tahe forama ofa moleculesa. Moleculesa are ofa six kinadasa, vahile tahe atomasa are ofa tavo kinadasa.
